Isaac Newton

Sir Isaac Newton (1642–1727) was a deeply curious and introspective thinker who preferred solitary study to social life, yet his mind raced with revolutionary ideas. While secluded during the 1666 plague, he famously watched an apple fall and formulated the law of universal gravitation, showing that the same force governs both earthly objects and celestial bodies. In parallel, he developed the three laws of motion, invented calculus, and unraveled the nature of light with his prism experiments. His 1687 Principia Mathematica cemented his legacy, transforming our understanding of physics and laying the groundwork for centuries of scientific progress.
