At my office we have a number of TV's out in public locations which are wired back to a stack of cable boxes.
To do this we run HDMI over two Cat 5 Ethernet cables using [StarTech HDMI Extenders](http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00F5XWYD8/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B00F5XWYD8&linkCode=as2&tag=zorlackcom-20). The HDMI extenders allow video to be sent over 30 meters using the ethernet cable and allow for remote control signals to be sent back to the box using an IR blasters.
When you're just using one cable box this system works great! The IR blaster even comes with some double-stick tape so you can attache the blaster to the front of the cable box.
However, when you have lots of cable boxes in a closet, things can get tricky. You end up having to use cardboard and tape in interesting ways to keep one blaster from changing the station on the wrong cable box.
Enter the Isolating IR Blaster Mount. The mount makes it easy to isolate the out
