NOTE: the mounting section pauses to let you drop the discs in place - otherwise it's impossible to get a nice smooth surface with supports for the command strips to stick to. A 1-for-1 recreation of the EVA hand rails on the exterior of the International Space Station (ISS) designed from the NASA Extravehicular Activity (EVA) Standard Interface Control Document available here. Adapted for use with sections of command strips.
