I am not sorry about the name.
Anyway, this began with two L-shaped brackets meant to hold up a small iPhone 5c on a desk. Normally, they hold the phone comfortably in landscape mode, but can be pushed together for portrait with minimal impact on the stability. Later on, I decided to make a "floor runner" to hold the brackets at different fixed distances for a variety of holding patterns. At the widest, they hold the 5c comfortably in landscape mode, not sliding or tipping over when navigating apps. With one placed a little closer to the other, the lens is no longer covered up and you've got a small tabletop tripod for unboxing videos or macro photos of your builds. Placing them next to each other holds the phone in portrait mode with access to the home button.
Note: an iPad mini 3 was placed in the holders in landscape mode, and while it held up well enough, it was not stable enough for app navigation, and portrait mode was out of the question. Best to stick with iPhones or mo
