Italian Scepter

The "Italian Scepter" is a unique 3D-printed artwork that celebrates Italy’s most famous global identity: its culinary heritage. This piece reinterprets the traditional symbol of power and authority—the scepter—by replacing golden orbs and precious gems with the true icons of Italian daily life.The staff is represented by a classic fork, which culminates in a crowning glory of a perfectly twirled nest of spaghetti and a central meatball. The design challenge of this project lay in the contrast of textures: the metallic smoothness of the fork, the fluid and intertwined curves of the pasta, and the organic, porous surface of the meatball.From a technical standpoint, this model pushes the boundaries of 3D printing by requiring high precision for the delicate spaghetti strands and careful management of complex geometries. It is a tribute to Italy that combines humor, tradition, and modern technology, proving that in Italian culture, the kitchen is the real throne room.
