#**TL;DR:**
This is a chess set scanned from a set my grandfather found at an auction, which was a commercial cast (allegedly) from an actual jade chess set. The print is super stable and only requires supports in some obvious spots, like the bottom of the pawns' robes, the horse's overhanging hoof on the knight, the king's spear, etc. The set in the pictures was printed at 140% scale, the files are the scale of the original pieces. My grandfather knows that I work at a public library MakerSpace, and sent me this beat-up, injection-molded chess set that he found at an auction in Reading, PA. The box was broken, the board was torn, and some of the pieces were broken, but hey, he got it for $3 and shipped it to me to mess around with. Per the box, it was a cast of an actual, existing chess set, but I haven't been able to verify that. It also didn't have the brand on it, the pieces only came in the bottom half of the box. I was
