Jane Bolin (1908-2007) became the first black woman to serve as a United States judge in 1939. This is one of a series of lithophanes I coded and created in 2020 during Black History Month to honor women's accomplishments. The coded pattern is meant to reflect her blouse's pattern, and the sides are meant to evoke a law degree or similar documents.
