Janome Machines feature horizontal spool pins for holding your spool of thread – this is so the thread winds off at a consistent rate. To stop the spool from bouncing around or slipping off, Spool Holders or ‘Caps’ are used to keep the spool in place and the allows thread unwind around it smoothly. Available in two sizes, this larger spool cap is most useful for larger reels of thread
