Jar Opener

FURTHER UPDATE! - Version 2 included has an extra layer as per my comment at the end of this text. I recommend this version.

UPDATE! - I have subsequently updated the model with some improvements (Old files have been replaced.) The cut out section has now been done at an angle which ensure all the levels line up when closed and the inserts are symmetrical.

I originally designed this one day after my daughter complained that she was unable to open a Jar. I had remembered the Universal Bottle Opener by In3Designs (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3057772) and decided to do something similar.

This requires a flexible type filament (i.e. TPE/TPU) as an insert in order to grip the smooth metal lid.

For any intermediary jar sizes the unit can be pulled open a little.
The unit will fit on a 220 x220mm bed at 45deg.

I am considering adding another level between the top and second from top sizes.
I would apreciate any feedback as I have created these sizes from jars initial
