. "Jawz" is a clamping tool that screws onto the end of a threaded broom stick and is designed to grip various thicknesses of sponges, steel wool or scotch brite abrasive pads, etc.
This thing is "print-in-place" with the axle oriented vertically. Support material is required. My first few prints have an infill of 20% which seems sufficient.... time will tell. The jawz are tensioned by means of a 50mm M5 hex head bolt and corresponding washer and wingnut resulting in a gripping thickness from zero to about 32mm.
A couple of notes: 1. This thing has not been extensively field tested and will be iterated upon as necessary, and 2. Threaded broomsticks probably come in a variety of thicknesses and thread pitches. I include a measured photo of the male thread I modeled from.
As usual with print-in-place items, mobilizing the joint can be a bit tricky. Take your time. I'd also suggest removing any support material not absolutely required prior to printing. This design does require
