Jayco Blue Light Cover

Our Jayco Eagle travel trailer has a blue "nightlight" in the bathroom that is bright enough to land aircraft. To make it more functional and not blind us, I created these covers.

The complete dome cover was printed in glow-in-the-dark filament to help darken and diffuse the light. Translucent blue would also help to dim the light or use a different color for a unique effect.
I also made one in black with part of the dome removed, and it blocks the light from your eyes and reflects it off the shower walls.

The cover/diffuser presses on; there is a rubber grommet that secures the light itself.

I used PLA for the prototype; I will use ABS for the final since it will be exposed to water and higher temperatures when the rig is in storage.
