jeans button extender

This is a minimalistic button extension for pants, inspired by https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1799238, but entirely flat and printed in one plane. The idea: print it flat, then shape it yourself using a lighter or heat gun.

After printing, gently heat the area just behind the circular part and bend it upwards to create the final form. Be careful not to overheat the material – just warm it enough to become flexible, then hold it in position until it cools down and sets.

The result is a simple, lightweight solution to extend the waistband of pants, shorts, or skirts – perfect if the button won’t quite reach anymore.

Designed from freeCAD, not a remix – but clearly inspired by the original.
Works well in PLA, 100% infill, 2 mm wall thickness.
