Instead of putting Easter candy in cheap, store-bought plastic eggs, put it in these slinky eggs that make great fidget toys long after Easter is over. The egg consists of three nested coils, spiraling in opposite directions to keep candy such as jelly beans contained within it. It also requires a bit of effort to get the candy out, so there will be no dumping an entire eggful of jelly beans into your mouth. You can either hold the coils apart after printing to fill the egg, or you can pause the print and fill it during printing. The layer height is set to 0.1mm, but 0.15mm also works. After printing, you will need to use a spudger or bed scraper to separate the coil layers. Initially, getting the bed scraping between layers can require some work, but once you do, sliding it around the coils is easy.
