Work in progress.
Fire boat / work boat.
Initially wanted to build something like Palfinger PB-950A boat, but I found nice hull on thingiverse and slightly redesigned it.
Hull complete - does not include all modifications. Attached to give impression what this design is about.
Karol generously printed it for me (as other projects...). Thank you Karol! :)
R - files - printed red.
G - files - printed grey.
X- files - main hull cut in 3 pieces - play it as you wish.
Settings:
10% infill
Outcome: bit heavy :) will see how it behaves on water... :)
Jet drive - Graupner mini jet. Still available in Graupner shop. (https://www.graupner.com/Mini-Jet-complete-set/2349/).
I plan to install water pump for fire hose... Will see how it works.
Revision 1.
- hull water inlet for cooling must be redesigned (to small and wrong position)
- space for engine cooling should be larger
- deck cover and roof cover must be redesigned (ribs shortened, wholes for the screws
