Jet engine impeller

So this is a copy of a jet engine impeller.
I have a family member who brought home this piece. He said that it goes in a jet engine, and acts as an impeller, sucks air in to the engine. This part is from a Pratt & Whitney engine. Originally, made of titanium, with holes and stuff to help the piece cool off.
