This was inspired by https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4541909 as a start, but I wanted to improve rigidity as well as its stability. With a ridge in the back against the metal shell, it can no longer rotate.
Mounting instructions:
Read https://cnorton-webdev.github.io/ C. Norton did the hard work of sorting it all out.
-Take a picture of the BLtouch and the cable (for color matching later on)
-raise the gantry by 10 to 15 cm then unplug the power cable.
-remove the screw on the right of the extruder shell.
-install the BLTouch holder and tighten the screw you removed at the previous step.
-Insert the cable through the upper part and connect it to the BLtouch
-Slide the BLTouch in, and tighten the screws from below.
-Ziptie the cable to the part you just added, and along the extruder cable, down to the motherboard.
-Remove the Z stop switch (it's not needed anymore)
-Disconnect the Z stop switch cable from the motherboard and connect BLtouch 2-wire connector instead
-Co
