A blade holder for jigsaw blades. Inspired by https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4680797.
I built this with a two-part handle, secured by two M3x8mm cap screws with two nyloc M3 nuts.
There are two types:
- Blade holder 1 is for "U" shank blades
- Blade holder 2 is for "T" shank blades
There are pictures of the two types of blade above.
Print both handle halves with the outer faces pointing downwards.
The "gasket" parts are intended for printing in TPU. I used Sainsmart TPU, a shore hardness 95A filament that prints well on my Ender 3. The idea is that a little squish helps to grip the blades, but I've not tried them without it. The gaskets sit underneath the blade, in the pocket in the handle.
I have printed my handles in standard PLA.
