Jim Henson

In 2004 Palisades Toys paid tribute to Jim Henson with this miniature replica of the Jim Henson Muppet banjo player from The Country Trio. The figure was packaged in a window box with pictures of Jim and all the main Muppet characters. The figure was sold at the Muppets, Music & Magic event at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York City. Afterwards, it was offered for sale on the Palisades website....and I put it off too long and never got one. Nowadays they go for upwards of $250 -$300 Time to make my own!

The Country Trio BTW, is a hillbilly band consisting of Muppet versions of Jim Henson, Frank Oz, and Jerry Nelson. Named for their performers, Jim played banjo, Frank played bass, and Jerry played guitar. (I am undecided if I am brave enough to do the guys. Just keep watching my thingverse account I guess)

They were created for a 1972 appearance on The Perry Como Winter Show where they sang "You Don't Mess Around with Jim."
