K-7 Space Station Modifications

These pictures show how the model kit was modified to fit onto a war game table. The problem with the plastic model kit is the design is good for a film/tv show, not for a game table. All the halls were shortened and re-glued, and the goofy glass cones on top the discs were removed in place of actual space equipment that makes sense e.g. gun turrets and communication tower. Less attention is paid to the underside of the model, but it was mostly left unchanged. Tiny plastic beads are applied to look like aviation lights. VASTLY BETTER MODEL.
