Print time- 19 min Material usage- 5.5 grams This model is designed to test if you should change the infill to wall overlap value when trying to correct a model that is printing with a gap between the walls and the rest of the surfaces. There are two fields that will affect the model in different ways. This will test both. I made this at a specific layer height that would print a few layers of infill and a few layers each of top and bottom shells. Tob/Bottom Solid infill wall overlap- The horizontal top and bottom surfaces will be overlapping the vertical walls for better bonding and to minimize the appearance of pinholes. 25-30% is a good starting point. Water-tight vessels require at least 50% Infill/wall overlap- The infill is area is increased slightly to overlap with all adjacent walls to the infill area. This is to increase strength and stability. Too high of a value can create upward pillowing effect, requiring more top surface layers to be needed. Best to start this value at 10-15%.
