The Pilot Kakuno is widely recognized as one of the best (if not THE best) beginner's fountain pen, but it has one fatal flaw - the lack of a pocket clip.
I initially just planned on remixing Brejikk's design to be two separate pieces. As there is potential strain on the parts in two separate axes, I couldn't get theirs to print with the necessary structural integrity. Ended up with an almost entirely new design and several iterations from which you can choose your favorite.
Regarding the clip...
Print in PLA/ABS/PETG/etc with 100% infill. Use supports.
I prefer the 30mm long, full strength version but it's obviously up to your personal preference. The 40mm version is as long as possible being longer than the cap; the 20mm version gives a little more strength for thicker pockets/notepads.
As for the ring... Print in a flexible filament with 100% infill. I used TPU, but anything with enough stretch to get it on there would work fine.
