Kayak Anchor Spool

This is an experimental Kayak Anchor Spool with a one way ratchet. A lever can be used to drop the anchor and the spool can be turned to retract the anchor. This design requires two 608 bearings, sealed recommended. A reference for the shaft bolt is McMaster # 92198A689.18-8 Stainless Steel Hex Head 5/16"-18, 1 ¾" long, Partially threaded.The hex head is ½" A reference for the nut is McMaster # 90101A23718-8 Stainless Steel Nylon Insert Locknut, 5/16"-18 I haven't spec'd the hardware for the lever and the knob as I just used some from an assortment I had. I will likely update this portion of the design later so I haven't bothered. Reminders:Use at your own risk. This was designed as a fun project and is not a product with professional safety testing.Most plastics will degrade with TV exposure over time.You will want to use a fairly high infill.Recommended for use with a light anchor…Its plastic… Use common sense.
