This is my case for the Keebio KBO-5000. There are two versions. One version has dovetails attached to the parts which can be joined by a clasp. The other version has no joining mechanism. There are two parts, a middle layer and a riser (or wedge), which are joined by a clasp. The clasp is purposefully angled beyond what is required. I determined the appropriate angle by trial and error and based on my print quality. At the angle that the clasp is currently at, it holds the wedge to the middle layer with no gap. All parts have 0.2mm tolerances at point of interaction. The space between the two keyboard halves was purposefully pushed back by 0.2mm to allow the keyboards halves to mesh without interference. Currently this design does not support screw-in stabilizers and had to be sanded down with a dremel tool in order to fit them. I will update the design based on these mechanical adjustments in the near future.
