Key with secret compartment

Description

This is a life-size 3D printable medieval-style key with a hollow interior, perfect for storing items or using as a decorative prop or for cosplay. The key opens with a functional screw mechanism in the middle so it is easy to use.

I designed this in Fusion 360 and printed it all on my A1 mini. It is easy to assemble and works well on other printers aswell. All STEP and Fusion 360 files are included, so you can customize the design, add engravings, or modify the handle to make it uniquely yours.

Assembly

Regarding assembly, all parts are meant to be glued together. The tolerances are around 0.1 mm to 0.2 mm and the pieces will stick together just by pressure therefore make sure that you apply the glue before putting it together. The part of the assembly you need to be most careful is whenever you are aligning the screw with the rest of the model. I haven't added any guides to the parts and therefore you can easily glue it in a way where key doesn't align when you glue e
