In early 2012, I was contacted by Alfonso Tamés of Axiom/Mantic to design and create a prototype enclosure. The requirements was for a computer integrated keyboard that also has a touchpad. The clients' idea was to have a low cost device that can bridge the digital divide in Mexico. It soon became apparent that the design was for the Raspberry Pi. The design went through several iterations before an actual prototype was committed. While enclosures for Raspberry Pis were common, this was the very first one that integrated it as a full computer. However due to NDA requested by the client, I couldn't publish the design until now. It was rather sad to see people like Ben Heck grab the headlines (http://www.raspberrypi.org/archives/1558) when I already had a full working prototype at that point. But at the end of the day, the client still owns the design. I'm grateful for their trust placed in me to deliver this project!
