This particular Keyence VHX-6000 Digital microscope's Z-axis lock was worn down, and the vendor was not able to replace / fix it.This clutch design incorporates a new Z-axis lock mechanism within the knob with simple push-pull action.To use, remove the existing knob and replace with the clutch.
