This is a lock to lock a lock to a scooter.
This is base on hamburger: 6 slices hold together by 4 metal scew+bolt
Feel free to copy, and make your own, with your own bolt size, plate size, and lock size.
The lock is griped on the center of the "tool".
Every side is cut in two, to insert two connected plates: mine are 10cm long.
the bolt I use are 5mm diameter and 35mm long
To protect srew from being unscewed, I hided them under PLA:
I used a 3d pen to add pla on top, then I used an iron solder with paraffined paper, to flaten it and hide screw position.
The lock cannot be out of kick scooter , without unmounting the kick scooter, or break something.
About security, as always, this is quite secure way to keep your scooter safe, but no lock are the safest. The security of a system is on it's weakest link. My goal with this tool is just to be stronger to the lock itself by:
-suprising the thief
-not give clue of where are bolt or where to cut
-no be only plastic: hav
