Hello,

Here you can find my improvement to the cheap lamp for reading books (can be found on Aliexpress). The original lamp couldn't be attached to the Kindle because the clip range was sufficient to embrace only a few sheets of paper, but the Kindle was too thick for it. Also the neck of the lamp is short making it hard to properly adjust the light source when the original clip is in the intended position. After applying the improvement the lamp is perfectly usable, at least for me :)

To reproduce the thing you need:
- the spring from the clothes peg
- M3 screw with threat at least 28 mm long
- M2.5, threat ~ 3...4 mm long, cone-like head
- M2.5 nut
- optionally kind of thin rubber to protect the clips jaws.

If the spring relaxed position is improper for the clip - no worries, just squeeze it with some force, this will work.
