Here is my remix of ChoasCoreTech's Kirby as a lamp.
I scaled the model up and hollowed it out.
The base for the lamp was designed in Tinkercard:
https://www.tinkercad.com/things/0uvM7MD4i9I
I used a NodeMcu V3 and a really cool toggle switch with two functions: up is momentary and down is hold. This allowed my to use the middle position as ON, down as OFF and top for changing the color.
**HARDWARE USED:**
- 1x NodeMCU V3
- 4x 10 mm high PCB standoffs with screws
- 1x 2½ position toggle switch with 6 mm diameter
- 2x 10 kΩ resistors
- 10x NeoPixel RGB LEDs WS2812B
- Some wire
- Small piece of perfboard
- Super glue for gluing Kirby to the base
**DISCLAIMER:**
I know that the Kirby model has a lot of mesh errors. Every time I tried to fix them with Meshmixer it created holes. So I just ignored the errors, sliced the model in Cura and printed it out with no problems.
