I was not able to find an official replacement to this, so I created my own. This 3D printed part is designed to replace the trigger/engagement piece inside the handle of the KitchenAid 5-Cup Chopper. If your chopper has stopped working, the original component may have cracked or worn out and this part serves as a direct replacement. Installation InstructionsRemove the handle:Unscrew the two small screws located at the bottom of the handle.Access the internal component:Gently pull the handle downward to expose the original trigger piece.Swap the part:Slide out the damaged original piece and insert the new printed version.Make sure the spring is properly seated in the small notch on the replacement part.Reassemble:Reattach the handle and tighten the screws.Test the trigger movement—your chopper should now engage normally.Printing RecommendationsMaterial: Use a moisture-resistant filament such as PETG.
