Kitchen Sink Strainer

Kitchen Sink Strainer This is a strainer for a standard kitchen sink to help catch large and medium size objects before they go down the drain. I printed this in ABS to withstand the high heat of hot water, coming from the tap, without deforming. You could print this in PETG, but PETG will deform at a lower temperature than ABS. Please do not use PLA as that would not withstand the hot water. The supports have been created to release easily with ABS. After the supports are removed, a little clean up with a razor or knife will get ride of the smaller left over bits. I did run a flame over the cleaned up support region to blend in the parts, cut with the knife, to the rest of the print. Pass the flame quickly as it will not take much. Supports have only been tested with ABS. Happy Straining…
