Solve the "Turbulence Problem" with your Kitchen Vent Deflector! Do you feel like your kitchen fan is just pushing the steam and cooking smells around the room instead of sucking them up? Many recirculating (charcoal filter) range hoods have a design flaw: the exhaust air blowing out of the top creates a "curtain" of turbulence. This high-velocity air actually pushes the rising steam away from the intake before it can be filtered. The Solution: These custom-designed Exhaust Redirectors tape onto the top exhaust vents of your hood. They redirect the filtered air away from the intake zone, allowing the plume of your cooking to rise undisturbed into the suction area. Results: Massive improvement in steam and odor capture. Eliminates the "air curtain" effect that causes kitchen smoke to bypass the fan. Note: You might notice a slight increase in motor hum due to the changed airflow, but the trade-off in extraction performance is night and day. Compatibility: Originally designed for a Bosch
