Just my design of the carbon-brush holder for a KitchenAid WSK55.
This piece is either not available any more, available only in specific countries, or expensive because it requires buying a whole piece set.
I skipped the screwing thread in favour of a two-pin locking mechanism.
I skipped a positioning line on the side of the cylinder which is necessary to fix the orientation of the cylinder inside the kitchenaid: *I suggest that you add it yourself*.
I printed without tolerances (rookie mistake) and had to shave plastic to make the two pieces fit together. The cap was already thin enough, so I shaved mostly from the inner par of the cylinder.
I had to shave also the square hole to make the metal holder fit inside.
I had to glue the cylinder to the outer metal casing of the kitchenaid because the cylinder was slightly too small.
The spring that goes into the cap fitted perfectly.
Given what I had to shave and glue I made a version with corrected tolerances, but this was never p
