Knitt Tidy

Got to do some waiting around next week so decided I would keep hands and mind occupied by knitting some christmas decorations. So I needed something to keep my scisors, knitting needles and a darning needle tidy...

This one takes 4mm needles. You can change the dimensions of things in the scad file.

h=10; height of the thing
scisorsW=3; width of your scrissors
scisorsD=8; depth of your scissors
darn=2.5; diameter of your darning needle
needle=4; diameter of you knittong needles

I printed this with fillamentum using a 0.8mm nozzle with 0.4mm layer thickness. If you want to use the trick of getting an even number of threads in your walls then change nozze_diameter and layer_height in the scad file.

You need rodsandholes.scad in the same directory (it has a set of modules for rods (outside dimensions entered as diameter) and holes (inside dimesion entered as diameter). All to do with cylinders actually being poygons and needing across the points for rods and accross the f
