Knitted Basket

This knitted-style basket is a decorative storage piece designed to mimic the look and texture of real yarn stitches. The woven pattern wraps seamlessly around the entire surface, giving it a soft, cozy appearance while still being sturdy and functional when printed. This design was especially challenging to create and will be improved at a later date. Achieving the realistic knit texture while keeping the walls structurally sound and printable required a lot of iteration and fine-tuning. Balancing detail with printability took much longer than expected, and I learned a lot throughout the process. You may notice a few small imperfections — I’m already planning improvements and refinements for a future version. However, after many redesigns and test prints, this version felt ready to share.
