Knitters Wand

This is a simple transport box for your knitting needles when they are in use.
I don't know what the right name would be, in my handiworks group in Germany it's called "Zauberstab" (translates to magic wand) as you can put your needles with the attached project into it and don't have the risk of stitches falling of the needle.

The "standard" size (which sometimes can be bought in wool shops) has an inner-diameter of 15mm and a length of 150mm. This nicely fits 150mm long needles of a diameter up to 3,5mm with attached project.

I uploaded the two files for the standard size (with a wall thickness of 1mm) and the openscad file so you can tailor it to your needs (myself I printed anotherone in 25mm Diameter, 200mm length, slot-width of 10mm and slot-length of 130mm to nicely fit my 4.0mm needles when knitting a hat).
