Knob - Drill Press table hold down

I have a floor model drill press that I wanted to make a large wood table top for. I wanted an easy way to secure the table to the drill press table. On the bottom of the original table there are slots and those are 1" wide. Instead of using washers and bolts, which would require a tool to install and remove (which takes longer), I decided to design this little knob to accept a 1/4-20 bolt.

The bolt is inserted through the knob and snapped into place. so it is captive. There is no need to epoxy it in since there is a slight overhang on the hex side hole. To install the bolt all you need is a pair of large channel lock pliers to squeeze them into the knob. Of course you could install the bolt in a lot of ways.

I hope this knob will make things easier for someone else as well.
