Knob for Appliance

"Heck... The knob on my ********* broke!"

Today the knob on my steamer broke.
I like steamed vegetables.
I hate it when things break, don't you?

I made this.
The old one broke so easily.... I wonder why 'they' designed it that way, so flimsy and easily broken.
It's almost as if 'they' want me to go buy a new one, just because the knob came off.

I shall resist their puny plan.... because I have a 3d printer and Fusion360.

Not only shall I design a better one, and make it in a nicer colour, but I shall make it STRONGER... yes, STRONGER I tell you.... and it shall not fail as your limp effort did fail!
It will LIVE... and succeed, as yours merely crumbled and fell when work was to be done.

It must, by default, fit a 5mm shaft, be secured using a 1mm thick strip of steel that fits in a slot on the timer shaft and be 42mm in diameter.
I think we can do that, no problem.
