Ace Top Mount Kobra 3 MAX Since receiving My first Kobra 3 I wanted to mount the ACE above the unit. I originally had it on a shelf, but it was difficult to work with so high. I saw other top mounts, but they needed to much filament, were overly complicated, and long print times. So, I finally got around to designing this.   It is a simple design that connects to the top pole of the Kobra as well as the wall. 1 piece fits into the other. This gives it the freedom to have flexibility with how far your printer is from the wall. Because the weight is divided between the top bar and the wall, The machine is even more stable and has no issues with wobbling of tilting!   I keep the feet of the ace on the outside of the brackets.   The picture shows 2 but I currently use 3 mounts.   A single mount (15%) takes about 3.5hrs and uses about 140g. You can print 3 sets on 1 plate. I suggest using Wall anchors as well as more infill. The further the machine is from the wall the more infill you need.   It is a tight fit. If you are having difficulties getting the back piece into the front piece, use a deburr tool on the edges of the back piece. Also, the more you move it, the looser it becomes, so try not to make it too loose as it is an intentionally snug piece.   I have included the stls, bambu studio profile as well as the anycubic pronext file.   I have used this for several days with the printer on sports mode. With that being said……… I must cover my a$$ and add the following.   *****Warning****** By downloading and/or using this product, you agree that you are solely responsible for any outcome. Attach the mounts to a board and screw the board into studs. This will make the mounts even more secure!   Commercial license As of 2/25/24 my designs are no longer allowed to be sold commercially.
