More baloth ecology headcanon:
This model represents the Baloths of the Krosan Forest on Domiaria that were warped by the Mirrari (eg. Enourmous Baloth and Towering Baloth) and could represent the Oran Rief Baloths empowered by the Roil (eg. Canopy Baloth and Baloth Woodcrasher). All baloths are partially suistained by drawing magic from the forest from which they are from and Mirrari warped baloths especially so. Oran Rief's baloths can draw power from the roil to temporally reach the massive sizes of Krosa's baloths and return to a smaller size to reduce the amount of food they require while still making use of the Zendikar's magic surges.
