This design securely holds the side stand sensor so the magnet is positioned correctly and the sensor always thinks the kickstand is in the "up" position.

DANGER This bypass will allow the bike to stay running in gear with the side stand down. This can be dangerous and result in crash. Always put the side stand up before putting the bike in gear. DANGER

A magnet is required. You can carefully cut the existing magnet out of the plastic arm that is attached to the side stand. Or, you can buy a magnet like this: https://www.mcmaster.com/5862K103/

The magnet must be installed in the holder with the correct polarity (north/south), or the sensor will not read it. The easiest way to determine what side of the magnet should be facing the sensor is to test each face.
1) Mark one side of the magnet with a permanent marker.
2) Place the magnet in the holder with the marked side of the magnet facing the sensor
3) Install the sensor in the holder, ensuring wire is opposite the mag
