In the Lab I'm working with 1.5 ml vials. I need a rack that enables me to see whether I have already pipetted into the vial - and that with only 10 µl. All commercially available racks were not suitable for this. So I set about creating my own rack. It has holes that are only 7 mm deep with a diameter of 12.5 mm, so that I can see whether I have already pipetted 10 µl into the vial (with insert). The vials are still safely in the rack.
