Laboratory Mouse

This is a reproduction of the monument to the laboratory mouse, a sculpture in Novosibirsk' Akademgorodok, Siberia, Russia. It is a tribute to the mice used in laboratory experiments.It was built in front of the Institute of Cytology and Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, to celebrate the 120th anniversary of the founding of the city. The original model has been remixed by adding a base and by separating the mouse from the DNA strand. They are printed apart and will have to be glued post-print. This step is necessary to avoid damages to the DNA while removing the supports.
