Need a ladder with your own dimensions? Use LadderMaker. This OpenSCAD script lets you make custom ladder-like structures. Just set your height, width, rung count, etc. then render and print. I say ladder-like since this might be useful for other projects as well. (Examples: Prop Railings, fan screens, etc.)
My son needed a prop ladder for a firetruck model so I wrote this simple script. This is my first "real" project in OpenSCAD so scripting feedback/suggestions would be appreciated.
Included are some sample STL files but you'll want the OpenSCAD file to make your own. This also works well with Thingiverse's cool Customizer tool, you can create it all online with your specifications as well.
Customizer Variable Notes:
$FN = Minimum Angle (number of fragments when rendering, probably don't need to change)
L Height = Ladder Height mm (end-to-end)
L Width = Ladder Width mm (oc-to-oc)
L Rungs = Number of Rungs
L Radius = Ladder Radius mm (remember it's rad
