Wanda was battling Captain America (later General America), who was trying to enforce the fascist laws set in place by the United States Government. Wanda was able to escape capture, when Wade hurled Headpool at General America, allowing him to bite the arm of the other-world hero. Deadpool severed the arm from Captain America's body to stop the spread of the zombie virus.
