(From Bunnings)Both the stand and Lamp arm have hollow sections for the cable to pass through. I used it as a grow lamp because I'm not paying $100 for a simple bulb holder. Pendant lamp fitting is encased by the PLA to keep a uniform look and allows it to hold a custom “lamp shade” (Made from a plant pot)Could be used with a standard lamp shade! (Just don't print Shade Adapter) The supports can be difficult to remove, Pic or scribe is recommended
