Lamp Shade Stabilizer

Several years ago, we purchased a couple of lamps and lamp shades, from different places. However, we failed to consider the details of how the lamp shade would fit onto the lamp. Unfortunately, the ring on the shade wasn't large enough to fit over the light bulb socket. So it would sit on top and was always crooked, because there was nothing holding it in place.

I'm borrowing a friends older printer and am teaching myself cad tools. I decided to design this piece that slides over the light bulb socket and provides a platform for the lamp shade to sit on.
