Lampshade Surface Model

renderings are actually the finished product in real life. Completed for architecture school project; I lasercut mine out of 1ply cardboard (laser template in files, i think in this uploaded model ,the hole for the IKEA Hemma lamp cord is too small, it needs to be precisely 1.5"). I recommend using only a 400-600 lumen LED, even though the lamp seems to be fairly adequately ventilated. it is designed to fit snugly onto an IKEA Hemma lamp cord, and be a hanging shade. Only thing taking much of the tensile forces is glue, so suggestions for gluing: paper/fabric glue works well, but sometimes leaves hotglue style strings, and may burn on contact with heat, so use great caution (ask around at hobby lobby or similar store to find product). 3-in-1 by Beacon is the best stuff i've found. tacky glue? has a tendency to run, soak in, and not hold well, but works great for gluing together the 2ply portion where it attaches to the lamp cord. superglue? just, don't use it, bad stuff. that j.d.weld stuff? unkown. Gorilla glue? (wood and regular) doesn't work. duck tape? effective, but tacky. DISCLAIMER: feel free to change the design and use it for personal use as you see fit, but don't resell, don't use for school, don't blame me for a fire if you decide to build it (I have done my absolute best to make it safe, however, and use it myself), etc. (common sense stuff).
