Lampshade

I wanted a lamp shade which is unique and doesn't restrict or direct the light too much. So I came up with this design. I really like the shadows that are thrown around in the room, and it gives some atmosphere.

You would need 20 petals and one base. I could print 10 petals at a time on a 22x22 printing plate.

The base is for a standard 40mm lamp mount. Once the base has been mounted, simply insert each petal on an angle, and let it go down. Its weight will keep it stable into position :)

When designing it, I was restricted by my printing plate dimensions, so I couldn't make the petals bigger. If anybody has interest, I can also include the step files, in case you want to edit the dimensions.
