Lantern Holder (Laternenstab)

Since St. Martin is ahead of all Germans, i decided to make my own lantern for my little one. My idea was to use led strips as they can illuminate the lantern way better than the little led light inside the bought ones.
I ended up over engineering everything as Germans usual do. So now you can control the little lantern with your smartphone and instead of just doing White it can do RGBW...

Well anyhow if you like to build your own lantern, this is what you need:

5V Led Strip - I used some digital 5V led strip i had lying around
Led Strip Controler - I used the Magic Home 5v for WS2811
18650 Battery
Aluminium Rod 8mm
5V Battery loading platine
